Senior Account Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES


> Lead PR campaigns for the launch of new products, services, hires, research results, and more
> Identify media targets and manage relationships with journalists
> Media monitoring to identify reactive media relations opportunities for your clients
> Proactively research your clients’ technology, customers, competitors, and industry
> Craft compelling narratives around intricate science and engineering topics
> Stay up-to-date on the latest in science, technology, and PR trends
> Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for your accounts
> Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality service

QUALIFICATIONS

> 2+ Years of experience in public relations, preferably at an agency
> Strong interest and experience learning about science and technology with the ability to understand and communicate complex topics in simple and compelling ways
> Must have led successful PR campaigns for tech, government, or finance clients from conception to execution.
> Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
> Strong understanding of media ecosystem
> A solid understanding of the science and technology media environment, such as the topics covered by key journalists, opinion leaders, and publications
> Proven experience in client-facing roles, with a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
> Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to problem-solving

DETAILS

SALARY
$72,000 - $85,000

LOCATION
NYC, Hybrid (3 days/wk in office)
Full Remote for non-NYC candidates
